Collection: Expressionist Wall Art

Where impressionism painted what the eye saw, expressionism painted what the gut felt. Colours got louder, figures got stranger, and the brushwork stopped pretending to be polite. Kirchner, Marc, Schiele, Munch, Kandinsky in his early years: these are paintings with a pulse.

It's a good style for rooms that have a personality already, or for a wall that's been too safe for too long. Some pieces are raw and intense, others are surprisingly warm and colourful, so it's worth scrolling past the first row. Each print ships framed or as a fabric wall hanging.
